The wizard is a great putter and definitely worth trying. Stable, medium glide, and a nice medium deep feel with a big bead. The nose is rounded, the shoulder is not too high, and the flight plate is nice and flat in most plastics. However, in this plastic both mine became slightly puddle top.
Where this wizard sets itself apart is the plastic. I bought 2 pairs of wizards over a year ago (1 in rubber blend and 1 special blend) and the nylon rubber blend is way more durable than I expected. Unlike the special blend or any other baseline plastic, it is nearly impervious to little nicks and scratches. The only signs of wear are the larger dents and scratches from big hits, but they aren't nearly as deep as they are on my other wizards.
It has that distinct rubber feel where it is grippy without being tacky or gummy. It has a medium amount of flex, similar Z FLX. I prefer the stiffer and flatter special blend for my putting putter, but this plastic would be amazing in any mold for a throwing putter/approach disc due to the extra durability and great grip.
