PRODUCT INFORMATION:

The Meteor fits nicely into our midrange lineup next to the Comet, and delivers steady, controlled turnovers with a lot of glide... even at slower speeds. Or release it at a seven o'clock angle for a nice smooth hyzer.

Smooth Disc with Great Artwork

Great straight flyer that can hold an anhyzer or a hyzer. It is more stable when new than ratings normally give it, but it flies nice and straight right now and should break in beautifully. BigZ is my favorite plastic from Discraft, and the artwork is awesome. Very happy with my purchase!

Vanessa Van Dyken Meteor

'21 VVD Signature Meteor - Stiff metal flake Z. Not the best grip feeling plastic when new, but I believe this plastic gets better after use. I would probably grab an ESP run next time.

Mine is green, 177g and definitely on the stable side for Meteors. I _did_ pick out the highest parting line height of the stack, but they were all very close.

It's a good disc and it was shipped right away. My only complaint is that I thought I was buying the disc in the picture and I got a different color disc which is going to be hard to find if I throw it out of line of sight..

One of the premiere understable midranges.

The Meteor is an elite understable midrange because it excels at not becoming uncontrollable at power. It will flip, turn, track right (rhbh), and or finish without burning into a roller.

Essentially, it has enough high speed stability that it has a controllable range in which it acts understable, unlike other mids in its class where they have a narrow range - like a light switch from being stable to becoming so understable that it burns into the ground.

This inherent desire to remain relatively flat even as it tracks right (rhbh), gives it sneaky distance and reduced rollaways once it does hit the ground.

Its closest competition may be the Axiom Hex.

The Meteor is great

Love the ESP Meteor. For a rec player like me, it is very controllable with great distance for a mid. Thrown flat, it has a great S shape flight to stretch out pretty straight. I am back hand only so it comes in handy for turning shots. It will stay in my bag.
