Manufactured By Gotta Go Gotta Throw: Introducing the return of the original Turbo Putt from Quest Applied Technologies! The Turbo Putt is a very unique disc mold that has notches all around the rim and a spiral ridge on the bottom. It is designed for overhand "turbo putting" where the thumb is placed anywhere along the spiral ridge and the fingers are fanned into the grooves along the rim of the disc for launching the disc at the basket. It has become something of a cult classic disc golf disc, but is not currently PDGA approved for use in sanctioned events. It was originally approved in 2007, but had its approval rescinded the next year because it was argued that the disc did not have "radial symmetry."  It is definitely not like any other disc on the market and is sure to get attention whenever it is used in recreational play. The PDGA updated their qualifications and definitions for a "Golf Disc" because of this specific disc. Do you believe the PDGA should allow this disc back in sanctioned events?

Prior to a regular production release, each disc will be PDGA approved and released as part of the Experimental Series in a very limited prototype run. We'll evaluate the traction of the model and seek customer feedback on each model. With success, an ES model will be introduced officially into the Millennium line. If it fails...customers will have a collectible relic of disc golf experimentation. Our goal is simple, grow our line of discs and continue to help disc golfers play smart and keep it simple.

The Sirius ES1 Prototype is the first release in this new series. It's a distance driver designed for ease of throwing and smooth S-Curve lines. CD1 is back with a reinvented name. Formerly known as CD2, we've brought the mold back to the spotlight based on popular demand. The letters "CD" in the name stand for Control Driver, putting the player in the driver’s seat and allowing you full control to manipulate and style the disc exactly how you want it to. CD1 makes for a great first distance driver for less powerful or skilled players and an incredibly useful disc for experts, too. Those with a bit more arm speed will find that this disc often will compete for distance with even their fastest drivers, yet the execution feels more effortless and controlled.

CD1 handles just about any wind condition with ease but is most well suited for tailwinds and calmer weather.
