We decided to test the waters with previously unreleased Premium Glow material on the Active line Shogun and the results are very appealing. The Shogun's straight-to-stable flight pattern make this disc a true go-to for upshots and shorter drives off the tee and the more durable plastic blend makes sure the flight pattern holds true for a long time.

The Premium Glow material also offers a great grip that offers you that extra bit of confidence for your upshots. The plastic glows in the dark, making it easier to find your disc when visibility is low. CD1 makes for a great first distance driver for less powerful or skilled players and an incredibly useful disc for experts, too. Those with a bit more arm speed will find that this disc often will compete for distance with even their fastest drivers, yet the execution feels more effortless and controlled.

CD1 handles just about any wind condition with ease but is most well suited for tailwinds and calmer weather.
