Like the design
When looking for a Fairway driver that floats, I had an innova DX dragon, which was great, but it got pretty beat up. So I figured I would try something different to replace it, amd landed on the mermaid. It definitely glides less and is more stable out of the box than the dragon, but I like it. We'll see how long it lasts
Ironically I got the blue plastic so if it ever goes in the water it looks right at home. It floats good and flies good too. Seems pretty durable. Out of the two floating discs I saw I would get this one over the dragon any day. (Numbers don’t really matter if you think about it)
Very stable base plastic for throwing harder over longer bodies of water.
I bought one of these a year ago and was impressed by it a lot. It has since started to develop some flip-up so I bought a second one. It is exactly what the first one was to start off, where it is straight to fade. Great to have consistency for the discs, and usefulness throughout its whole lifespan. Still a great disc!
Love this disc! It floats perfectly as advertised, but is a great fairway driver besides. It started just straight with fade for me, but has beaten in slowly to have some turn. The rim edge is rather blunt, but is comfy to grip. Could make for a great fairway driver to cycle.
Only thrown it a couple of times, but it glides better than my Dragon and holds its line better. Not disappointed so far. Plastic is nice a grippy. No complaints.
