The Vortex is a solid disc

The Vortex is a solid disc. I like a little more understable disc with my weak 60 yr old arm. It flies really straight for me and glides more than expected. I'm bagging it!

Too heavy for me

The GGGT description says 145-159g and I was hoping for something on the lighter side of that scale. The DGA label on the disc is 155-159g. I would not have ordered it in that case, and my disc came in at 159. I’ve reported this problem, and they offered a replacement, but I haven’t found a suitable one yet.

Very understable. Has great reliable turn. Put this disc on a hyper and it will stand up and go for days with a slow arm speed. I throw between 250 and 300ft.

This has become one of my favorite discs! Thrown flat, it will slowly turn over to the right (RHBH) in a giant arc. Thrown on different degrees of hyzer, you can adjust how early it turns. I have almost made my first ace with this disc (it hit the side of the basket). If you are not particularly good at throwing forehands, this disc will help give you a very similar shot shape.

Love this Disc. It's understability allows me to throw this disc with my natural slight hyzer release and have it stand up to flat. Throw it flat and it holds a nice anhyzer line. Already got a back up.
