The Meteor fits nicely into our midrange lineup next to the Comet, and delivers steady, controlled turnovers with a lot of glide... even at slower speeds. Or release it at a seven o'clock angle for a nice smooth hyzer.

Great disc, not perfect color selection

Great disc, very quick shipping time, but I wasn’t overjoyed with the color selection. I included the color as pink or blue with the alternate option of “as bright as possible” and I got a mostly dead grass colored disc: yellow/orange base color with a pink rim. Still findable but not quite what I was looking for. Regardless GT3 is and will still be my go to site for discs.

great woods disc

makes short hyzerflips in the woods easy, can baby it on pretty good amount of hyzer and get a straight flight.

Great turnover disc for a newish rec player

At max weight (177-180), with midnight z plastic this disc can hyzerflip to turn that often holds to the end of its flight on golf lines. On long downhill shots it will fade out at the end. I’ve yet to hit it hard enough to turn it in to a roller, very happy with it

It's a good disc and it was shipped right away. My only complaint is that I thought I was buying the disc in the picture and I got a different color disc which is going to be hard to find if I throw it out of line of sight..

One of the premiere understable midranges.

The Meteor is an elite understable midrange because it excels at not becoming uncontrollable at power. It will flip, turn, track right (rhbh), and or finish without burning into a roller.

Essentially, it has enough high speed stability that it has a controllable range in which it acts understable, unlike other mids in its class where they have a narrow range - like a light switch from being stable to becoming so understable that it burns into the ground.

This inherent desire to remain relatively flat even as it tracks right (rhbh), gives it sneaky distance and reduced rollaways once it does hit the ground.

Its closest competition may be the Axiom Hex.

UV meteor

Fun disc can really go for a mid and fun UV.feature in the sun.

The Meteor is great

Love the ESP Meteor. For a rec player like me, it is very controllable with great distance for a mid. Thrown flat, it has a great S shape flight to stretch out pretty straight. I am back hand only so it comes in handy for turning shots. It will stay in my bag.

Favorite midrange

Being a older player with a slower arm speed now, it flies straight with just a little fade. I'm a fan of the Elite Z plastic.

Good

The Meteor is a stable to slightly understable midrange. It has easy shot shaping capabilities and will hold almost any line it is thrown on. It feels like a less aggressive Buzzz and is a good midrange for newer players trying to work on their placement shots.

Beautiful disc that holds some beautiful lines out to 350' or so. Quick order fulfillment and delivery from G3T. Would definitely recommend.

Feels great in the hand. Flies like a dream, with tons of glide. A little slippery out of the box, but wear & tear gives it a nice semi-tacky grip

I can’t believe it’s not butter

The Metor in ESP plastic is hands down the best understable mid from discraft.
It’s comfortable and has a lot of glide, can be put on a flat angle for a straight to right finish for a rh bh or a hyzer angle for a flip up to straight.

It was just what I was looking for. I was seeking something a bit more under stable than my buzzz ss and the meteor did just the trick. Hyzer flips and anhyzers are smooth with a solid finish. Very happy with this disc

Smooth Disc with Great Artwork

Great straight flyer that can hold an anhyzer or a hyzer. It is more stable when new than ratings normally give it, but it flies nice and straight right now and should break in beautifully. BigZ is my favorite plastic from Discraft, and the artwork is awesome. Very happy with my purchase!

'21 VVD Signature Meteor - Stiff metal flake Z. Not the best grip feeling plastic when new, but I believe this plastic gets better after use. I would probably grab an ESP run next time.

Mine is green, 177g and definitely on the stable side for Meteors. I _did_ pick out the highest parting line height of the stack, but they were all very close.

Dog-leg go-to

Since I got this disc, whenever I find myself looking at a dog leg, right or left, I grab this. For some reason, this disc was designed to hold an amazing turnover shot line, with little to no flex. Also amazing for highly wooded forehand rollers. Buy it in neon green, take it in the woods, and hit hear those chains around that corner before you can see them 😃
