I tune, repair, and play pianos and other keyboard instruments for both livelihood and hobby. Doing so requires that my fingers have great tactile feeling and are not torn up. And I love to play disc golf. Which forms callouses and often tears up the sides of fingers. Friction Gloves are wonderful to allow me to play both things that I love! I've used the gloves for several years now, in all kinds of weather, for all kinds of throws, ALL the time. I'm 63, and my throwing is never going to be as far as the youngsters or the very fit and trained. I don't feel that the gloves take anything away from the distance or the accuracy which I have worked hard to aquire. In winter I slip into a pair of insulating liner gloves first, then wear the Frictions over the top. Have played rounds when rain or snow have reduced non-gloved people to less than optimal, while I just kept going at my regular pace. Am happy that the gloves are offered in single glove form, rather than always in pairs. My left glove will never wear out, but I go through righties pretty often. The fit is really good for my hands, and I don't switch to different size when wearing the insulating liner gloves. Like that the friction part is seamless along length of index finger. So glad that such a useful product exists. Hope they keep making them for years to come!
