The Prodigy Disc BP-1 V3 remains the standard bearer for anyone looking to pick up a lightweight, durable large capacity disc golf bag at an extremely accessible price point. Along with its abundant space and water and tear resistant Nylon Ripstop fabric, the BP-1 V3 now offers more personalization with an interchangeable Velcro patch and five color options.

The Velcro patch includes Prodigy branding but can be customized to add a personalized flair to your bag (not included) along with the all new color array to help you stand out on the course. You can still fill up the main compartment with more 20+ discs and then put your favorite pair of putters in the front putter pocket, which now includes a sleek, debossed pull tab. There’s plenty of extra room in the large top pocket that can fit 4 putters or other accessories, and the expandable side pockets can be used for discs, snacks, towels, and even extra gear. The water resistant zippers, magnetic easy access pockets, umbrella sleeve and insulated 32 oz. bottle holders also provide extra convenience. This product requires some minor setup before use. Discs and accessories not included.

Reviewers noted it "feels so light" despite being "incredibly sturdy" with durable construction. The support panels are "difficult to put in" but strengthen the bag once installed. Not high quality nor holds claimed amount of discs

Absolutely not worth $125. I'd rather buy multiple budget bags that will last longer over time than this bag. So many loose threads and in no world would this fit the claimed 42 discs unless you're only playing with drivers and put the discs in the side pockets. That's just not feasible.

Get it you’ll love the storage

Worth every penny! I’ve used this bag for about a year now I play every weekend. I love how much room it has. I’m able to dress for the weather in the Pacific Northwest and have storage to take layers off and store them in my bag.Max out with disc I can get 32 not that I would carry that many. But you could.

Overall nice bag!

Nice large bag - allows flexibility to carry many discs but I’ll probably only ever fill this 2/3 fill or so since all those discs get heavy. Not the most comfortable bag - to grab discs out of the top you need to have the straps pulled tight which makes the bottom of the bag push into your back. Bag stands up well, sturdier than expected, and is well designed - got this on prime day deal and I’m happy with the purchase ant the price, and would buy again. The color was slightly darker than I was expecting but overall I like it. It took like 2 minutes to put together so idk what everyone is complaining about.

Great bag

This bag was much nicer than I expected and has held up great. The panels are fairly difficult to put in but once they are in it is much stronger. The customer service is also top notch! Definitely recommend!!

Amazing backpack with ONE critical flaw

So this backpack is absolutely incredible when it comes to holding my discs: The main pocket holds about 20 drivers/midranges with enough wiggle room for the discs and my hands to comfortably take the discs out. Putter pocket holds 2 nicely or 3 snugly, and the top holds 4 more. I love how many compartments the bag gives you (and then some) so I'm able to hold all my drinks and food as well. The ONE critical issue with the bag is the base. The padding on the back isn't as great as other bags I've tried, and the base panel is not rounded or covered to the back panel. This creates an edge that can dig into your lower back if you're carrying enough stuff. I have to loosen the straps which lessens the pressure, but becomes uncomfortable after prolonged walking.

Room for everything.

For all the people and even YouTube reviewers that said this bag sucks to put together, I was a little nervous about it even though the bag seems to have everything. IDK what the fuss is all about.I just got it ten minutes ago and it’s assembled and full of discs. It exceeded my expectations for how many it could fit. I have 7 putters- 2 in the front, 5 up top. 11 midranges and 13 fairway and distance drivers fill out the main compartment. That’s 31 discs for those keeping track and they’re not crammed. I could easily fit more in the expanding side pockets, but I don’t need to. I really like the retriever/umbrella sleeve because on my old bag my retriever stuck up like I was a military radio operator. Much sleeker now.Side pockets have room for minis, snacks, even a light jacket and the smaller magnet closed pockets are great for keys, wallet, Sharpies, and other small items. The water bottle pockets are ample size. i fit a large Stanley 36oz thermos with no problem. I've seen complaints that bigger bottles are difficult to get out. I did not find this to be true. There is one carabiner on the top side for towels or whatever. The straps are comfortable although i haven't had it out fully loaded on the course as of yet.Very impressed.Edit: Took out this weekend for a couple rounds. Was very comfortable to carry and performed nicely. Only (minor) drawback i found was with two full 32oz water bottles, it was a bit back heavy due to the placement of the holders and could tip over if the ground wasn't level (which it wasn't more often than not). Very happy with the purchase.

Great bag, better company.

Great bag, definitely an upgrade over my previous bags. Incredibly spacious but not bulky feeling or heavy to carry. Plenty of room for all the discs you need and then some. I can carry all that I need for the day and still have room to easily find what I need. The dual water bottle holders are nice to have as are the expandable side pockets. I’m sure there are more robust and heavy duty bags but at a considerable cost increase. Plus, the best part is the lifetime warranty for the original owner. I did have a problem with one of the internal rigidity pockets and Prodigy’s customer service immediately sent me a replacement that arrived with the same speed as the average Prime delivery. Now that’s how you take care of the customer and make someone a lifelong fan.

Disc golf bag

10/9 Prodigy is replacing the bag and the customer service has been awesome! This is why we will stay with this brand. Thank you! 10/7 Update: after two days of using bag the stitching on one of the arm straps came apart completely and some of stitching is coming undone on top of the bag. Have reached out to seller to see what they are going to do to fix at this price point with Prdigy newer bag I'm a little disappointed.Husband loves the bigger bag

Excellent value for money (when I bought it).

I use it quite often - it's lasted me for 8 months. But showing signs of wear and tear. I expect 3-4 years use out of it at this rate.

Good quality !

All and all a decent bag for the price . I will say the cross strap came off only after using it a few times and it's really hard to get back on. I managed to get it back on once but it snapped off soon after. If a cross strap is important to you then this is not for you .

Great bag

Such an awesome bag. Inserts require some struggle to put in but there’s so much room. It holds so well even when loaded down with discs, water, and everything else. This was my step up from a cheap bag immediately I can tell a difference in the workload on my back and shoulders. I also like to carry a lot of disc and I can fit 21 in the main slot including 8 mid ranges

As described

The bag is sturdy, it’s been through some unexpected rain showers - holds up just like I got it! It’s pretty heavy when your bag is full of discs. But that’s to be expected when it holds 20+ discs! Water bottle pockets fits my 32 ounce bottle Comfortably! Stands pretty sturdy on the ground, it can tip over pretty easy if the bag is full, but all you really have to do is just adjust the bag so it’s not facing downward. It seems to stable itself pretty well! — For an extra 20 bucks, you can go on the website and get a customized patch so it doesn’t have to say prodigy!

Almost Perfect, but……

So overall this is an excellent bag and had plenty of storage, as others have said getting the plastic liners in takes a couple minutes but isn’t too difficult, the problem I have is one of my plastic inserts is to large and buckles inside the compartment which makes the bag have weird lean, I tried putting it on the other side and it did the same thing, I tripled checked to ensure I put it in right and I did, so the plastic piece is just a little to large. I have had the bag now for 2 months super durable and comfortable but wish it stood up straight with out the lean! Other than that the bag is perfect!

Great bag!! One small catch....

So the wife got this for me as an early Christmas present. Love the bag. It has a ton of space l for just about everything you would need for the course. The only down side to it.... It doesn't come with instructions on how to install the support boards and they are a little tricky to do. I highly recommend that you watch the tutorial video on the website to learn how to do this with out messing it up. Other than that it is a phenomenal bag. Plenty of space for storage. Extremely comfortable on the back and shoulders for no matter how much you put in it for the day. Would highly recommend this bag.

I'm not sure there is another bag in this price range that fits as many discs

I have a cart and an older DD bag, but I was going to play a tournament that was an 8 mile mountain hike and really not great for a cart. So I shopped and shopped and this bag for what it can hold just seemed to make sense.Good padding, good construction. I can see how some complain that the lower bag support/feet can dig into your back if you don't have the bag adjusted properly.Heavy, it's not light, but only a lb heavier than my smaller bag and this thing carries lots of stuff! :)One small gripe is the velcro patch was sewn on crooked and it bothers me to no end :)But ya the green I'm really happy with and it's a great bag and again for the price, I just couldn't find anything else close..

Tough to assemble, but worth it.

I must admit when I had to assemble the bag I was throwing fits, it felt like half of the structural pieces were slightly too big to fit. I hope it's easier for you, but don't be surprised if it takes you around 15 minutes or more to get the 5 pieces into proper place. If it goes down like mine, some feel like they cannot fit at all, it's just an extremely tight fit you need to break in the molds a bit to help them and make sure you're using the edges where they fit. I've been using the bag for a couple weeks now, it's extremely sturdy. My only wish is that there were separators in the bag like the V1 had. I don't carry a ton of discs and they flop around in the bag. Outside of that it has more storage space than you need. I'll be enjoying this bag for years to come. Cheers!

Fantastic bag

Been using a few times a week for 6 months now and it still looks brand new. Extremely spacious and holds more than enough discs, plenty of water bottles and snacks, and even light jackets in the pockets. Never tips over. My buddy has the twice-as-expensive Grip bag and I notice his falls over once per round and this one hasn’t a single time. I saw some reviews about it being uncomfortable around the waist line but I have never noticed that problem at all. It was heavy at first but after a few rounds I got used to it and now I could never go back to a small bag. 5/5 stars.
