Axiom Pro HD 24-Chain Disc Golf Basket

UPDATE:Love this basket so much I ordered 2 more. The Green one arrived as an MVP Black Hole HD where the Blue ones arrived as Axiom Pro HD....other than that tiny tidbit, they're identical in everyway except the screen printed name and that's so minor it doesn't matter. The baskets must be made, manufactured/Umbrella'd under the same company. They play great and swallow up the discs!I wanted to upgrade from my super old HALEX style baskets to something more PDGA approved and closer to what we play at on the courses. As the DGA Mach II wasn't in stock, I went with this one, fingers crossed and it's so much better than anticipated! Nice weight, about 45lbs, solid, super easy to put together plays and catches disc's really well! Couldn't be happier with the purchase!

These worked perfectly to set up our own home course and are holding up nicely in the outdoors. Will definitely be buying more in the future.

Setup was really fast. Like the whole thing can go together in a minute or two. Came with some ground stakes but I don't feel it's in any danger of falling over, even with uneven grass. It catches great and feels just like the ones on the course. I will be adding some pipe insulation for the noise, but it's not any noisier than any other basket.

I have actually purchased four more of these for my personal course. They are very easy to assemble and move around. Would make a great gift. Cool colors too!

Great basket. Best quality in the price point and only one offered in multiple easy to spot colors. Simple assembly. Larger gauge wire for base, basket, and chain rack compared to pro model.I recently purchased 9 of these baskets for a private course that's set up for a week at a time. I already have two of the pro model and wanted to step up to the HD for the course baskets. One basket arrived damaged. I took a couple pictures and emailed them to MVP on a Sunday night. Monday morning I had a response and after providing my address was told a new part would be shipped to me direct. Phenomenal customer service!!!! You can't go wrong with these baskets.

These baskets are fantastic. The are super heavy duty welded steel. It took me 5 mins to set them up. They look super clean setting in place and are pretty simple to move. They are heavy which is a plus. Had 50 mph gusts yesterday and the didn't even budge unstaked. They seem pretty close to most of the baskets I've played in size, proportions and height. If your looking to get a basket this is the one to buy for sure.The only thing I was left wanting for is a heavy duty strap reinforced bag. I have seen lesser quality baskets of other manufacturers that include the bag. It would be a nice addition to this great product.

The basket is the better version of the MVP ProHD because this uses a layer of the Auto body smooth paint. The MVP seems to be more a matt finish and is not as good like it has only the lower layer. Also the Paint on the MVP HD was missing paint in a spot, need to fix that, not so with the Axiom model. Also others saying the chains are Galvanized are lying, the chains are Zinc Coated unless they sprayed the chains with a Galvanizing compound. The Axiom Pro HD is a only tad lighter then the MVP Pro HD but that is due to the paint being heavier and less quality on the MVP model then the Axiom.

Great for backyard practice. Portable. Easy to assemble. Instructions not needed, but come with it.

Good quality for the price. We use this brand for the disc golf course at our church property. It's great having the different color options.

I am impressed with the sturdy frame of this target. It gives me a course level feel to practice putting and mid range approaches at home. It came with ground stakes for the base, but after a few hours of play time on this basket cannot imagine ever needing them. It gobbles up line drives without budging. The only use case i can think of for the stakes is for semi permanent mounting, in case you plan to leave the target set up all season and it might be subjected to storm force winds. You will not need the stakes just to keep it steady for catching discs.Excellent quality for the price. The wire gauge for the basket is beefy and will not be easily bent! It is on par with permanent mount baskets that cost three times as much!

This basket has the best features in the semi portable realistic home disc golf basket category.It has the inner chain rings.The whole thing is coated, except the chains.A big deal feature is that there is no hardware the shafts have studs on the ends so the just **** right in. No tools nothing to lose. It does go together tight, too.The color is outstanding.It's made for weather. I added some grease at the connections to help withstand the weather but other than that it's ready to go.It really has an authentic feeling. It came with stakes but I haven't used them yet it's very sturdy.It goes together in 1 minute.It's the real thing.Absolutely love it.

Great basket for the price! If you are trying to decide between the axiom pro HD and the MVP black hole pro HD just choose based on color and price, they are the same basket with different paint. I ordered an axiom pro HD in blue and got an MVP “blue hole”. It was in an axiom box, is blue, but the logos are for a MVP black hole. Looks like a little mix up at the factory.Regardless, great basket for the price. Will be easily portable for camping trips or tournament warm up. I did also get a Latitude 64 pro trainer ($225) at the same time. The Lat 64 trainer is nowhere near as portable if you want to throw it in the car, but a much more sturdy basket and well worth the extra $65. If portability (taking to a different site). is important the Axiom and MVP HD baskets are great. But if you’re looking for a super solid basket that is great for moving around the yard look at the Lat 64 trainer, it has a nice wheel (missing on the MVP and Axiom) that makes moving the basket position real easy, the base metal is a much thicker gauge and wider diameter and it’s a much more stout basket for just $65 more.

Has a substantial look and feel to it. Not too far off from a pro field basket.Chains are two layer concentric and are heavy enough, but they are non welded so some of the link seams have sharp edges which will likely nic up disc edges over time. Paint finish looks great! I added a soft plastic wrap around the bottom section of the pole to keep the chain rings from chipping off the paint and to quiet it down some. I also added an LED strip around the inside of the upper ring for use at dusk/dark.For the money it's probably the best heavy duty portable. I would not recommend anything cheaper than this, that might have lighter chains, as it would not have nearly the chain-grab characteristics as a pro basket/chains at an official course.

Well constructed, durable, and the portability is icing on the cake. Out in the Midwest we get crazy storms and high winds, and I leave the basket out standing in the yard even through such weather. Zero problems at all. For putting practice there is not a basket that tops this one.

Had some putting league bucks to spend, so I decided to reinvest in my putting. Brought the Axiom Pro HD home so I could putt back and forth between my old Disc Mania practice basket, and the differences are very noticeable. My old basket, I am money on, the chains catch everything, and there is no top band to doink off when putting. The Axiom Pro HD is extremely solid feeling, easy to assemble, heavy but un-sticky chains, and very well reproduces to baskets at the courses that give me trouble. It forces me to aim more honestly and punishes poor placement. I'm pumped to practice on my putts!

Picked up this basket and have no ragerts. My putting game is already improving after just 1 week!

Loving the Axiom Basket. With the winter months, I can still practice my putting at home! The disc sticks if it's not coated in ice. Best purchase I've made all year!

The disc golf basket is very nice. However, it arrived with several scratches in the paint. It was very disappointing, especially since it was a gift.
