I purchased 2 Gstar Terns, 172g and 158g. Less than a week after getting them, I got my first ace of the year with the 172g Tern, on a 250’ drive. It flew exactly where I threw it, and it flew exactly where I hoped it would go: into the basket. This $15 disc won me $102 on league night! The Tern has always been my go-to disc on an open field drive situation. Dependable always.

I carry two Terns in my bag, a G-Star 170 and a Champion 172. The champion Tern is so durable that I've carried one for about 6 years, and use it all the time. The G-star goes a little further than the champion Tern, but this one keeps its flight stats forever (or so it seems). I've now lost 3 of them into ponds around the Midwest, but wouldn't hesitate to buy another anytime. GGGT always has a nice selection of weights and colors too.
