About Used Discs

1. This disc is used and may show minor wear from previous play. The Sleepy Scale measures both stability and condition: a lower rating indicates a more “sleepy,” worn disc, while a higher rating indicates a disc closer to new with more “awake,” responsive flight characteristics.

2. This disc is individually photographed, so you’re choosing the exact weight, color, and stamp shown above.

Great under stable disc

For a slow arm like me, I can get good distance. On a slight anhyzer, it will still fade back enough when if I need it to.

Great plastic, nice stamp

Huge fan of LSD Bravo plastic. Perfect amount of grip. Makes it easier to get consistent good release. The disc can be a little flippy, but once you get the hang of it you can get nice long turnover lines

Tumbleweed Distance

Crazy understable disc but I love it. It’s one of those discs that when it turns it doesn’t come back. Easy roller with a bit of headwind, hence the name.

Disc curves left or RIGHT for Right Hand Backhand Throw style

I am a Right handed thrower with a backhand style, (RHBH), so my throws tend to curve left, especially with an angle of release where the outside edge or left edge of the disc is tilted downward (Hyzer). However, the Lone Star Artist Series Lima Tumbleweed Distance Driver Golf Disc can also curve right and make right turns when the angle of release has the outside edge or left edge of the disc tilted upward for a RHBH thrower (Anhyzer). Even better, the glide aspect of this disc is superb, so it can really travel.

The Tumbleweed is the easy button of distance drivers. It's so newbie friendly and grippy that throwing it feels like a breeze. Need to roll it out? No problem! With an arm like a new born calf (weak) I have no worries it will flip without intent. I plan to add a 3rd Tumble very soon!

Tumbleweed

Love this disc. I bought it to back up the one I currently have. Really like the flight path and works great for hard right turns once you learn to throw it.
