    I love this versatile disc it is perfect for playing catch as well as approach and putting! it's a tiny bit domey which is nice

    Is this disc pdga certified? It appears not but am then questioning why it says disc golf in title and is under disc golf discs category?

    Its a fun disc to carry around with you

    If you take the Makani for what it is you will have lots of fun throwing it around with friends. It could be used as disc golf midrange/putt/approach if you wanted. I don't know if it's pdga approved or not. Its the same mold as the zephyr but much lighter at 140 grams with a more fun stamp. I would encourage Innova to make it available in one of their more durable plastics. Its weight and diameter are almost identical to the Discraft J*Star. The Makani has the thumbtrac and is very much a deep rim disc. The rim is not beveled at all like the J*Star. I enjoy throwing it around with my kids, it's weight and deep rim makes it easy for them to throw.
