Nice and light but with heavy chains, great for my backyard.

Got a Black Hole portable disc basket for Father’s Day. Set it up in my yard and liked it so much I bought another one for my birthday. Highly recommend. I thought they were damaged at first because my discs wouldn’t stay in the basket 😎 but now I can par (par-2) nearly every time. I think they are doing their job just fine. 🥏

Love this basket so much we got another for the other end of our yard! Easy to assemble, and light enough to move around. Very functional, durable and has withheld many storms! If you want to improve your disc golf game, you have to work on your putting. When I purchase this, there were a lot of options. I chose this model because the pro appeared to be more stable and heavier construction than most, especially with the chains. And I am not disappointed in it at all. It's fantastic and worked really well. I used some pipe foam on the center column to dampen the sound. And it works great to dampen the sound. The neighbors don't have to hear the chains banging against the center pole. I definitely would recommend for anyone serious about improving their disc golf game.

Great basket. I saw some people talk about rust but I haven't had that issue. Maybe it has to do with the climate? I've had a couple years outside and it's holding up just fine.

Xmas present for son-in-law. He already had one but wanted this in addition. Very nice quality product. Got a lot of use on our visit. Even Miss Baby, who is 16 months, enjoyed putting the discs in the basket!

Setup was easy. It is a little heavy to haul around but is manageable. Does not wobble when putting into it. It matches the same size as most courses.

Love this thing. It is very sturdy, does not wobble which was a concern for a portable basket. It IS heavy, but does break down to a reasonable size to fit in trunk. Probably not hauling it EVERYWHERE, though I will take it with me camping and a couple of other places.Really does assemble in about a minute.In my backyard this is amazing for practicing putting, but we also enjoy having cookouts and often play cornhole during such events, this will DEFINITELY compliment our get-togethers.It makes about the exact amount of noise you would expect from a disc slamming through two rows of steel chains and into a metal pole...I can't believe people are complaining about this.

This is an AMAZING disc golf basket! I had been looking at the Innova baskets but found this one on Amazon and liked what I saw in the reviews. It sets up and breaks down in under a minute, easily one of it's best features. When taken apart, you have two short poles, the stand section, the basket section, and the top piece with the chains pre-connected. While the first four parts are built well, they are clearly a smaller gauge steel (in order to stay portable) than what we're used to on a PDGA course. It's the top part with the chains where this product shines. I'm at a loss to see much difference between the top piece of the MVP Pro Black Hole and any PDGA course chains. Now this is why this piece is (BY FAR) the heaviest when broken down and truly pushes the envelope of calling itself "portable" (which is why it loses 1 star for portability). I have seen this set come with a bag, but for a ridiculously high price. Since I got this basket for $139.95, which is a steal for a product of this professional quality, I can live without the bag and devise something myself. Some reviews have said that it rusts quite easily, but it is super easy to break down or get a grill cover, so I don't see how this would be a real problem. I had it out for only one night in the rain and saw no rust, but I just bring it in now rather than take the chance. In closing I just have to say that this a great buy for under $150, easily better than some of it's competition costing more than $200. A well-made, easy to assemble basket

Our phone conversation clarified many questions I had regarding the product. Ordered 5 of the baskets and were delivered on date promised. On of the basket ground bases is bent and I haven’t called regarding it. But did use the baskets at family reunion and they loved the baskets - sturdy, solid and nice looking.

I'm an ultimate player who has been playing disc golf for about a year and I wanted to be able to practice my putting at home. This basket feels pretty close to what I've experienced on local courses, but it isn't too heavy to move around the yard on my own. The bolts that **** into each other come lose after a little while and you have to hand tighten them every once in a while. It's definitely not a deal breaker, but the manufacturer could improve it by tightening up their manufacturing specs. In the end, I'm pretty happy with this basket, especially when compared to my friends' portable baskets of similar price.

Second one I've owned since a move across the country. Catches well, and hold us to the elements nicely.

This is the first basket I’ve ever bought. feels good, sounds good. Easy to put together and easy to move. Definitely will buy a second one so I have 2!
