Innova DISCatcher Traveler 12-Chain Portable Disc Golf Basket

That Traveller is a pretty forgiving basket, what with the generous catch area (prevents stooping to pick up a lot of discs, though) and the narrow upper yellow band that allows discs to fall into the basket. That said, I feel the chain area is narrower than a typical basket, thus aiding "marksmanship".I was at first worried about the "head flop" of the top of the Traveler, as it's a tad disconcerting; hit the chains hard with a disc and the head wobbles like the neck of a newborn. But, I see they're all like that, and it even seems part of the safety of the device, to absorb some of the impact of the flying disc.This is a better basket than my lighter, but harder to dismantle and move, Discmania Lite.Love the authentic chain sound. Chang! Chang!My brother owns the one in the photo; he's my disc golf partner and knows a boatload more than I do about taking a good photo. That one shows its relative size, and its proportions, very well. A winner!

after reviewing all the available travel holes, this one was the best rated, and now I can see why! gave this as a gift to my husband and he loves it so much! the chains and everything are made of quality materials. the set up/and take down are super easy/quick! it even comes with a carrying case! if we had a bigger yard I would buy more of these! if you are questioning if this is worth the price, or if you should get a cheaper one, I say get this one because I can tell it will last longer and was worth the extra money compared to the cheaper options out there!

The basket is very lightweight and opens and closes in just a few seconds. You do get some spit outs compared to the heavy duty baskets at the courses but it will make you a better putter if you keep using it. I have left mine out for the pat 3 month on my back deck and have not seen any signs of damage from the elements.

I pull this thing out into the front yard for putting or mid practice. I've his this basket from over 200 feet away and nothing has dented or broken. Due to this being a lightweight and portable version of a real disc golf basket there are some concessions, like there not being as many or as heavy of chains. This causes discs to spit out more often than a normal basket, but I see that as a benefit, really. If I can land all my shots and keep them from spitting out of this thing then I'm going to get less spit outs on a real basket. One downside is not being able to leave it outside, because I don't want the fabric to mildew, but I was the one that bought the fabric disc basket!

This basket it very easy to setup and fold back up and is not much heavier or larger than my folding camp chairs. I keep it in my car trunk and it goes everywhere I do. Perfect for making my own practice shots and field work but where I have really made it shine is at backyard parties. Skip the bean bags & grab a putting disc! The mesh basket is different than you may be used to but it holds discs well and the chains are better than I expected. I have not had any issues with it tipping, even on some pretty uneven terrain. Overall, I'd say this will be with me a long time and if you need a practice basket (who doesn't?) this one is the easiest to transport.

I have purchased a few of these baskets and I absolutely love them. There are several different styles designs and companies that make these. I feel that innova is by far the best product out there.

I guess I didn't know what to expect until I actually put my hands on it. It's light, portable and compact. However because it's those things, It's not a very sturdy build. My biggest complaint is about the upper ring holding the chains. The chains aren't heavy enough to level out the ring, so it has a tilt to it, and sits a bit wonky. I'm thinking of adding some lead weights near the grommets that hold the chains to straighten it out a bit. And you will get spit outs or your disc will fly right through the chains because there's only a dozen. But it's great for taking out to a field, beach, or campsite to practice and have some fun without lugging out a heavy duty basket

I had a previous version of this target a while ago and it was great - the design makes it very easy to carry around and play disc golf wherever you want. After a few years, I decided to buy this target again. The first one arrived with a missing **** from one of the poles, making the target unusable. I got it replaced, and the second target arrived intact, but I did notice that the small bag that holds the pegs had a hole in it, so the pegs were starting to fall out of it. This is not a critical issue for me as I don't use the pegs so much but all in all, I just feel that someone at Innova has been neglecting the quality assurance of this product. Still recommend the target, just be sure to make sure it is fully operational when it arrives.

I bought this when it was $89.99 with free shipping, and it has paid for itself. I use it all the time and it absolutely had improved my putting and approach. There are 6 inner and 6 outer chains, they catch discs pretty well, however not as well as a higher-end basket. Nonetheless, this is a great target that is very portable at 15 lbs. I love that I can easily set this up in a field or in the forest and set up my own custom holes. It takes only 5-10 seconds to set up or take down. This is a fantastic practice target for a backyard or garage, and is perfect to take anywhere you want to practice.

Saw all the great reviews and went for it because i needed a home practice spot for putting. Throw for show, putt for dough. With a tournament that came and went now, i needed to get my putting tightened up if i was going to compete. Also to have the option of traveling with it to set up for parties with the family or to practice for away tournaments. It is truly versatile so much that you can set up anywhere, even indoors. Super easy to set up and close up. It comes with stakes to anchor it down if you want to set up on uneven ground or in windy conditions. The chains are not the same that you have at regulation courses so dont expect every putt to stick, its simply for practice to get your form and technique down. If you hit center mass, it sticks but some hyzer puts can chain out. For the low price it is great quality design that you would expect from innova and it is durable and lightweight to carry from spot to spot. Super stable on even ground and even with a slight slope on my front lawn, it is solid and I can lazer my putts in with no worries of it knocking over. Totally recommend for all levels of play.

I was surprised how easy it was to setup and put back into the carrying bag, it truly does setup in seconds. The chains seem kinda light and with there only being one row of chains, I thought there would be an issue with disc retention, but not all! The only issue I can point out is the top of the basket never sits flat and is always lopsided which makes it look kinda wonky and cheap. Other than that its a great basket for the price, the portability is great!

Awesome basket! No complaints! Easy to set up and take down. Fits in my trunk easily. It's not heavy but the size makes it a little awkward for my son to carry (he's 12). It's great to practice putting in my yard. I've taken it to the park where I practice my drives and use it for accuracy training. Plus my son and I have made some interesting makeshift courses using this. Great product from a great company!

nice and sturdy portable frisbee golf basket!!!, it even has stakes to tack it into the ground for stability. The chains catch discs well too. I would recommend this Innova portable disc catcher for anyone looking for a sturdy portable affordable disc golf practice basket for frisbee on the go wherever you go. I wouldn't leave it out in bad weather but it's super portable, easy set up and folds up easily for quick set up and take down. The only thing is the basket area is a nylon netting but so far it's held up. I would purchase this product again. It's perfect for any frisbee golf enthusiast who wants to share the fun of frisbee golfing wherever they go : )

There are quite a few of other brand disc golf targets out there but my friend had one which made me ask which kind he owned when it came to purchase mine. Innova is one of the veteran companies in this relatively new field of sports. This particular model usually costs around $100 and features a collapsible design and lightweight construction. It comes in several vivid colors and includes a target flag and ground pins to anchor it in case of high winds.This model is not advertised as "all weather" but can deal with rain, wind and prolonged exposure to sunlight. To be on the safe side and make sure it lasts it is best to move it to cover or store it when bad weather in eminent. The target breaks down pretty easily with a pin-lock on the bottom section which retracts, but it can take some force to activate this and will break in over time.I have hauled mine to the forests and desert and it packs great for camping or day trips. Even if you aren't a disc golf pro this is a worthwhile purchase to add for fun and practice.

Really enjoy this purchase. This is very light-weight, portable, easy to set up, and quite durable for what I thought I was going to get. Great for setting up quickly and getting some practice puts in. It comes right out of the bag with very minimal effort in setting up and taking down. Comes with stakes to secure to the ground, something I use but more as a precaution than necessary from my experience. While it is not perfect, the flag that comes with it does come in handy quite often, especially where I am where it is often windy so I can see the wind direction when practicing.If someone is expecting to get a regulation basket like the ones in courses, then I wouldn't recommend this one. This one is for very quick and easy set-up for practice. There are fewer chains on it than the baskets you find at courses, which means the discs do not catch as well, but I prefer that as a practice basket because I feel I am more focused on accuracy with this than course baskets. It also catches differently because the actual "basket" part of it is made with fabric and not metal, which means discs interact differently with it than metal i.e. bouncing far out hitting the edges or outside, or the extremely rare time a disc may bounce out from the inside. These are not really complaints and would not deter me from buying this again, but just something to consider before buying depending on what you are looking for.Overall, really happy with this purchase.

Love it! Was exactly what I was hoping for.. So simple to set up and take down, takes almost zero effort. Convenient storage—basically stored in a big lawn chair bag. Not too heavy, so it’s very easy to move around. Easy to transport in a car. Basket was a good size, chains are durable, the whole system is very sturdy even without anchoring to ground.Fun for individual practice tosses but was also a huge hit at a party since it’s easy to get many people involved at once. The kids were very into it too!

It's solid for field work. I bought 2 and can throw back and forth actual targets. Well worth the money if you're serious at getting better at disc golf. Super quick and convenient to set up.

That was the most fun I've had playing Disc Golf in a while despite the fact that I can't tell if the weather or my ability was worse. Great tournament, great course, 10/10 will be doing this again next year.

Bought this as a bday gift for my Husband he likes it. Enjoys the portability.

Portable basket is perfect!!! It is lightweight enough to move around easily. And it is sturdy enough to handle a hard toss. I wish my yard was big enough and I would buy 3 or 4 more and make a little course in my own yard!!! I highly recommend.

We live in a condominium, so we have no back yard of our own. We do, however, have access to grassy areas nearby. This portable basket is perfect for us. It's a great value.
