The Legendary European Open Lion design returns! First introduced in 2015, in the European Open fundraiser discs, the "Finnish Coat of Arms" -design celebrates Finnish independency from the early 1900s. This 2023 version of the art has a total of 11 stars, representing each year this first European PDGA major has been run. This is the original European Open fundraiser art and a centerpiece of any serious European Open collector! This year, the classic art is combined with new Chroma plastic. It is very durable and catches the eye with its distinct pearlescent look. Chroma plastic is grippy and almost gummy. Compared to regular new C-line, Chroma plastic has more give and has a better grip on all temperatures. Chroma FD gives you a straight, but torque-resistant flight pattern with a small fade. So, it's ideal for tight tunnel shots and controlled drives. The mold shape is almost flat, giving a nice comfortable feel to the hand. This disc is an official fundraiser for the European Open and it is subject to limited availability. The disc artwork is based by original European Open Lion design by Disc Golf Artist Skeet Scienski.

171 gm. More understable than s-line and fairly pop toppy. Gets more glide than my s-line but has more turn.
I have been pretty excited to try the discmania originals and finally pulled the trigger. I'm certainly glad I did. This flies like a dream. I get about 280 to 300 with this disc so not the farthest flying disc but that's about right for a 7 speed for me. The beautiful thing about this disc is the flight path. If I throw on hyzer, it's holds straight for the first 250 then a nice gentle fade for the last 50ish feet. Flat release will have a dead straight flight with a smidgen of turn and a flat finish. Anhyzer will hold the whole flight and small fight back at the end. It's legit a point and shoot sort of disc. Very awesome. The Italian plastic is pretty stiff and looks gorgeous in the cherry red I received. Love this disc. Hoping it stays like this for a long time.
