Innova GStar Hawkeye Fairway Driver Golf Disc

They sent me a UFO and now the men in black from the government are chasing my disc!

I've been playing for about 6 months and I found out quickly that you can't get a high-speed driver and throw it when you begin. I mainly throw fairway drivers. I have been mostly throwing a leopard 3. I decided since my form, arm speed, and technique have gotten better that I would upgrade to a 9-speed fairway driver. I tried a few others but this one has worked miracles for me. It plays really well brand new. I get more distance and this goes straighter than anything I have used so far. This was a great purchase! I actually lost this thing on a steep wooded incline where I play. I went back 2 days in a row and looked for it and saw it. I had to slide down a hill on my bum to retrieve it (LOL). That's how much I love this thing! Colors are random and the color I got was okay. I really do dig the stamp on this though. The striped silver and black is really cool! I am super happy with this purchase and will probably buy another one as a backup.

Getting back into DG after more than a 11 year lay off and was needing a new fairway driver, this disc is just that. As the title says, if you have a beat in bird and like that little bit of flip, this one is for you. Champ plastic is sturdy, easy to throw, standard Innova quality, and plenty of weights to choose from. Think of this as a faster and slightly more stable leopard.

Certainly not a primary fairway driver for me, but I always seem to end up with two or three shots where this disc is just the right choice each time I play, and it is reliable for these shots. That 5 Glide makes a difference when I need just a little but more than what my Eagle can get me, too.

Great looking disc with an amazing flight.

I was looking for a disc somewhere between a mid-range 5 speed and a fairway 9 speed disc and the new Hawkeye cause my eye (no pun intended). I picked one up form GGGT and got out on the course to throw it. It is a straight flier with a gentle turn and fade, which is exactly what I needed for a 150-200 ft throw. I will be testing it on longer throws in the near future, to see if it will be a good disc for recovery shots.

I suck. But this disc makes me not suck so bad. I use my mind to point the disc where to go, and it works sometimes. I need to buy 3 more.
