I throw a Mamba most the time. I max out around 275' and typically around 250' though sometime I've thrown just over 300' I can't seem to figure out how to do that all the time. I wanted to mix it up a little and try a different brand than Innova to try. Looked at the flight number and found the Wave from MVP.Wow! I really like throwing the Wave and it has quickly become my #2 disc. Much like the Mamba, the Wave will fly a little more straight when you can't get it up to full speed, like me. I've been a Valkyrie fan for a long time but since I found a light Mamba, I switched pretty quickly and now the Wave is serious competition. The Wave has feels great in my grip and I can release it flat and it will pull to the right a little of a hyzer flip for a great straight line with a little fade at the end. With some more hyzer on a short 250' hole, I can throw low and get a great skip to go around trees and brush. In a headwind, throw the Wave flat and its understable nature will send the disc gliding far away from your target unless you are playing the understable line that is. A a right hand thrower who throws mostly flat, aiming at the basket in a head wind is a bad thing to do with an understable disc. I've watched my Wave flight right and right and right of my line. Goes far but not in a good way :)If you are wanting a comfortable, great flying 11 speed that is a little understable, with a pretty straight flight, give the MVP wave a try. Being a gyronaught isn't a bad thing :)
