Axiom Pro 24-Chain Disc Golf Basket

The basket is super sturdy, the chains are super heavy, it catches just like the course baskets. The color is phenomenal and from what I hear the axiom baskets are more weather proof because of the extra layers of paint/powder coat. Out of all my friends baskets this is easily the best one. Great job MVP/AxiomThe only con is how dang loud they are, the thin metal tubes reverberate a ton and when the chains hit the pole it’s nearly ear piercing. I’m sure my neighbors would get sick of 100 putts in a row.However this is easily remedied with a number of solutions like 1 1/2” pipe insulation or filling the center post with spray foam and using tape or insulation on the bottom 4” where the chains affix to a ring that hits the pole a lot.After using spray foam and tape the basket is 100% quieter and could even be used inside with no ear fatigue.

Package arrived undamaged and in excellent condition. I can understand how some buyers had bent baskets because the box itself seems to support the basket to keep everything in place. If someone drops it on the bottom, with everything contained in the basket while in the box, it seems possible it could bend even though the box may not sustain much damage. All that aside, this basket is built sturdy and can likely withstand drops in most situations, which is why they haven't changed packaging. It could have a negative impact on the cost if they do and bent baskets seem to be the exception and not the norm.I would give this 4-stars for packaging, but again, I highly recommend this. It's the first basket I've purchased, but have looked at many and after assembling this am very happy. By the way, I ordered this on Friday night after 6PM and selected free shipping. Amazon must of had this one close to me, it should have been here the next Thursday or Friday, it's Monday as I write this (1 business day). In perfect condition. Nice!

For the price it's a great basket, and it's super easy to assemble/ disassemble. The actual basket part seems rather shallow to me and I find it odd that the chains touch the bottom of the basket. None the less it's probably one of the most realistic practice baskets you can buy in the price range. My favorite part of the basket is how close the chain gauge, and quality is to a high quality course basket. I wish it had a travel bag like the MVP version that I believe is identical, but I can make one some day if I feel like it. Like I said in the beginning, at the price it's a great basket, and I've been considering buying a second basket so that I can practice my long putt/approach shots back and forth. If I don't buy one of these then I'll probably spend the excessive amount of money that companies want for a professional basket.

It’s a great basket for the price. I use it in my yard to practice putts and it works great. I wouldn’t suggest lugging it all over the place but it is very easy to lift and move from my garage to the yard and back. Paint doesn’t look like it would hold up well if left outside uncovered. I will keep storing it in my garage for the time being but might buy an 8’ x 8’ tarp and use a bungee to cover the basket and just leave it outside. I will also probably put on a coat of clear gloss (can spray) before I leave it outside on a regular basis otherwise the paint is sure to chip and rust. These are very minor complaints and I am otherwise very happy with my purchase! I would highly recommend this basket if you are looking for a good practice basket for your back yard. (I went with yellow for color and it sticks out really well against our tree line/foliage.)

Super impressed with this basket, especially for the price. I wouldn't be surprised if someone told me this cost two bills.A few years ago I made the terrible mistake of buying a 14 chain WhamO for practically the same price, thank dog I was able to sell that trash on caigslist and by this one.Super easy to assemble, nice & heavy duty basket and chains, feels just like a top of the line Pro basket.As other reviewers have pointed out the box was pretty damaged and beat up, luckily the basket was in perfect shape not bent or anything.Went with the hot pink color because it was $30 cheaper than the others for some reason. It wasnt actually hot pink like the stock photos, the one I got was more of a magenta.Very happy with this purchase. I'll update this review in one year and let people know how it's withstood the test of time.Update: 6 years later it's still in perfect condition, even after being left out in the rain quite a few times and exposure to the elements.

Axiom/MVP knows they made great baskets. I knew it also, before purchasing this one to replace my last one. Taking it out today for Founders Day event to let the kids learn how to putt. It will be a hit, I'm sure!

After using an unspoken, highly innovative collapsible cloth basket for a few years I decided to end the turmoil and get a real basket. This one was highly recommenced and I can see why.Setup was a breeze, took less that 5 minutes to assemble as the chain assembly was fully assembled. Take down is equally as simple, its more portable that I thought. The chains aren't some chintzy dog chain, they're legit real chains like a basket at a course would have. I'm a firm putter and this catches great, I used to get a lot of bounce outs with my old "basket". Had a spike hyzer smash the chains from 320' and this gobbled it up with a very satisfying sound.I'm 100% satisfied with the performance, price and aesthetics of this basket, so much actually I intend to purchase another for putting practice.P.S. The white looks amazing, zero regrets

I am very happy with this item.Keep in mind that it is not perfect but is a top choice for a backyard practice basket.Keep in mind you are not getting a course basket and you are fine.If you want a course basket, they have them on amazon, expect to pay 3-4x more.Pros:It is sturdy. It came with stakes to hold it down. I don’t use them.The chains are heavy and are on par with what you find on a course basket.The powder coating is well done so no need to take it inside if it rains or snows.Cons:It is loud out the box but as stated in other reviews that is easy to quite.The diameter is smaller than a standard basket. ( this is more for someone expecting a standard size basket. It really not a con since it is meant for putti I g practice and it help with confidence when you are out playing on course baskets.The biggest con that I find is that the chai in go all the way to the bottom of the basket unlike course baskets were they stop 2-3” before the bottom. With this I find it is more prone to spit outs on otherwise good putts.

This basket met all my expectations and then some. We have had this for a few months and use it regularly. It has helped me with my putting and upshots big time and has been great for my son as well, playing around in the yard.Assembly is very quick and easy, which makes this great for moving around to different spots like we enjoy doing at local parks.One thing that is a con is that it is fairly heavy because of how awkward the shape is so I will probably be looking into a travel case for carrying it around from spot to spot eventually.I would recommend this to anyone who loves the game of disc golf.

The first basket has been standing in the woods in South Carolina for a year and is still in great condition. They are heavy enough to stay put , even making it through hurricane Helene this month still in place despite the eye of the storm hitting less than a few miles from our property. Huge pine trees (60’ tall) came down, but these baskets did not move. Impressive.We now have 3 baskets and plan to add 6 more. Super easy to put together and heavy duty. Love these baskets.

Got 3 Axiom Pro baskets all are sturdy and colors are nice. Will definitely order a few more to make a full home course.

Looks good but sent the first one back because all non painted parts were very rusty and any where the paint was chipped. Customer service is of course great. Second came with the same problem just not as bad. Kept the second one and greased up the rusted areas. If you are leaving this in the elements plan to do some maintenance to keep it from rusting out.

Excellent practice basket that is easy to set up and light enough to move.

The basket is good quality. It is plenty sturdy and can be fully disassembled in about a minute for travel. It would fit in the backseat or trunk of any car when disassembled.
