The Mantis is a great disc!

I love the Mantis. I accidentally threw my bright yellow one in a pond a few weeks ago and immediately ordered this one and another of a different weight, just hoping one would be yellow(for easy spotting when I throw in the woods). This one came first as red, which I like as well. The other is yellow, so now I have the best of both worlds. I am very pleased with both.

An effortless distance disc

This one doesn't get many mentions for effortless distance with a narrow rim that is super comfortable. Feels like a mid in hand. Great glide. Just toss it out there 70% power flat or 90% hyzer flip and it will surprise you.

Discraft Sleeper Disc

This immediately became one of my go to discs. I am 41 years old and don’t throw as hard as I use to. This being an 8 speed disc allows me to get the intended flight out of it (assuming I throw it at the correct angle).I think this is a great disc for beginners and advanced players alike!

I love the Mantis. Great beginner disc!

Mantis is great for 70% power + hyzerflips, when thrown on a slight hyzer.On anhyzer, the -2 turn overpowers the disc, and it's not able to fight out when thrown low.The fade is very reliable, much more than a Z Heat.On forehands, it's a beauty for 175-250 flip up to fade.I'll probably use this forever, it goes between my control driver and my heats.I would pick an ESP mantis for maybe more turn.The weight is fine for 300 feet and under for sure, it isn't a headwind disc, so it's fine to go light and get the extra spicyness.
