Customers praised this medium-sized shoulder bag for holding 12-15 discs with "plenty of space" and a 32oz water bottle. V2 fixed strap durability issues. Praised for lightweight design and multiple storage pockets. Some noted concerns about squeaky straps, cheap carabiners, shallow front pocket, and thin materials. "Best small shoulder bag you can buy" per customers.

V2 review, most on here are for v1

When looking at these reviews it's important to note that most are for version 1 of this bag. I got v2 which fixed the issue with strap ripping by extending the support for the strap to the bottom of the pocket. So far I'm liking the bag it's going to give me everything I wanted (14 disc, 32oz water and a pocket that my valuables feel secure in and room for 3 or so brews if I'm playing a leisure round. I used the MVP starter bag for the last 6 months with no issues but never felt safe with the mesh pocket putting my phone and valuables in it. I am buying an upgraded shoulder strap that has Velcro to add some patches too and a little more padding. Give it a try

Got the wrong color but...

Got it in a reasonable amount of time I think it took 3 days which ain't bad free shipping. Was supposed to come out of Michigan but for some reason it came out of South Carolina LOL. Got the wrong color wanted lime green but got blue which really ain't no big deal putter pocket holds two putters that helped out a lot because I can only get 13 in the main compartment which is fine. Got lots of storage plenty of pockets. Had an Innova starter bag that would hold 13 comfortably but had very little storage but the innova starter bags are somewhat cheaper but less storage. Overall I like it wished I could have got a couple more discs in there but I'll take it.

Nice medium-sized bag for ~14 discs

I've spent a lot of time looking for a medium-sized bag with a water bottle sleeve that fits a 32oz stainless steel bottle, and this one does the trick. The water bottle sleeve on most smaller bags is just barely too small/snug. I keep 2 discs in the putter sleeve and 12 discs in the main compartment. The side pocket is large enough for a towel and plenty of other small items. I sometimes keep gloves or a hat in this pocket when it's cold, or stuff my shirt in there if I get too warm during the round. The only downside is not having a pocket or strap or something to carry a retriever. But I like how lightweight it is to carry around on a hot day and/or a hilly course.

Good weekender disc bag

I have crammed 14 discs into this bag. 3 putters, inlcuding the front putter pocket and 11 other mix of drivers and midrange discs. The stitching on the shoulder strap arrived damaged but hasn't been an overall detractor from the bag itself. Has a pocket for a drink , a zipper close pocket that can easily hold wallet, keys, sunscreen, whatever you need. Additionally, it has two open side pockets and a velcro top pocket for quick access to other items. Overall a nice bag that can hold a pretty decent amount of discs.

Nice little bag

Like others have stated, decent satchel bag. I had a dynamic discs one but this is better. Holds a little bit more discs, has a pocket which CAN hold another two drivers or a putter, and can hold my 40oz Coleman bottle :)

Super convenient and durable.

Great stepping stone on my to a full size disc golf backpack. Holds enough discs for a chill round. Love the ease of use. Can hold 2 putters comfortably in the outside putter pocket. Can’t wait to pass this down to my children some day.

You probably dont need more than this!

Very pleased so far. I have a smaller bag, 2 larger ones, and a cart but I use this one the most. It reasonably fits 15 discs and has a surprisingly roomy side pocket. It looks to be sufficiently durable, if it becomes an issue I will update my review.

Excellent disc bag!

Excellent disc Bag! I spent over $200.00 on one of the best disc golf backpacks you can get and because of the weight I would rather carry the Beaker, it has room for enough discs a drink holder and a pretty large zippered pocket and that's all I really need.

Buy It

I have bought 4 different types of small disc bags over the years and this one is the best I've had so far

One year and find

I loved this bag initially. Bought it in August 2023. Up until July 2024, no problems. It’s still functional and built strong but it no longer stands upright. It’s floppy and if I don’t keep it full, the discs are all falling down. It holds 14 in the mid section, which is good when I’m taking my time. If I want to move along quickly and take less than 12, I am straightening them up all the time.I returned a half dozen bags before because I could tell with a couple weeks they were floppy. In full disclosure , I have not spent more than $30 on a case. Yes, you get what you pay for. But I just want a case that stands flat on the ground. I don’t care if it looks beat up after a while.

Solid bag

I bought this bag for my glow disc set, pretty solid bag, it has a divider that comes with it that goes the wrong way but other than that it's good you can it's removable anyway.

Misleading photo of product.

Decent bag… but… it comes with dividers that literally align the discs in the same direction as the front pocket. This is fine with me, but I think the photo misrepresents the bags capacity, unless you remove all dividers and aligned the discs as they did in the photo, you will not be able to fit that many discs into this bag. That being said, I deducted a star for that, and only that, it’s a great bag otherwise. Cost point comparison I would say it’s worth getting vs. the beginner bags avail through MVP/Axiom/Remix (I also have Westside’s satchel) if you’re looking for a smaller lightweight option. Holds a few extra discs compared to the beginner satchels and better storage for the extras.

Great small shoulder bag

One of the best small shoulder bags you can buy. Plenty of space for discs. Decent space for other things. The strap might be a bit uncomfortable after a while, but that can be changed.

Pretty Good, but could easily be much better

I really like this bag. For a smaller bag, it holds a lot of discs. I can easily fit ten discs inside the bag and two in the outside quick-access sleeve. Be careful about putting two discs in the sleeve, I have had them fall out on more than one occasion and had to retrace my steps. Better just to put one in there or be diligent in checking if they are both still there. My biggest grip with this bag is the strap. It's really squeaky and super annoying. I even sprayed WD40 on it to no avail. Maybe silicone grease would help? Anyway, I had to replace the strap with the strap from my old cheapie no-name brand that doesn't squeak!A few things that could make it much better are adding a key holder and a thin slot for a disc retriever. They have a "pencil slot" But this could be cut in half so it holds a retriever snugly.I do think it's a good bag and a good value. I'd buy it again. I hope they come up with a less squeaky strap though, along with a slot for a disc retriever and a key holder.

Good for the price

I upgraded from my smaller bag to this one which does not say much. The bag holds about 12 discs where as my previous held only 10. I purchased this thinking the straps for carrying on my back would be perfect. I have found that the backpack straps are great at the beginning and the end of my round however during play I tend to still sling the bag over my shoulder. In this regard a side bag is an equal comparison. I am able to hold my insulated bottle in the bottle holder. The storage can be a bit suspect. One side has a flap that you could place your phone. I have placed it there and the phone did not fall out but I still worry. The other side has one pocket and 2 slits. The pocket can hold my wallet and keys. The slits hold my marker discs. The marker discs tend to stay in these slit pockets without falling out. Here is what I don't like:The carabiners that come with the bag in one word sucks! One broke fairly quickly and others have slipped off too many times that I had to take matters into my own hands. I went to Home Depot and bought smaller locking links that do not fall off. They are similar to this product:https://www.amazon.com/STURME-Carabiner-Aluminum-Carabiners-Improved/dp/B07BXTR11Z/ref=sr_1_12?dchild=1&keywords=carabiner+lock&qid=1596507954&sr=8-12. I wish I didn't have to pay for this but seriously these carabiners are cheap. My second complaint is the front pocket. You better be sure to push your putter in the pocket tightly or as you are walking it can fall out.Overall it is a good bag and I will continue to use it, but from a design standpoint MVP needs to invest in better carabiners and should create a deeper pocket.

Nice design, very cheap quality materials, poor value

The design of the bag is very nice for a casual player like myself. The front pocket is nice to put your top two working discs so you’re not constantly rummaging through the bag. The dividers at least give the bag some stability. Without them the bag would fold flat to the floor like a wet t-shirt.This is why I gave it three stars. The quality of materials is bargain basement. The zippers feel very cheap and likely will fail quickly. The material is wafer thin, this is certainly not a bag for a weekend warrior. I expected higher quality materials for the price. My small bag from another major brand from 15 years ago is still in great condition.I mildly regret my purchase but it will probably be fine for a casual like me.Update: updating to 2 stars. I ordered a different bag for the same cost and am so much happier with it than this **** of a bag. I recommend passing on this one, you can get so much better for the money.

Great small bag for all skill levels

This is a great bag for beginners, or a nice Grab N Go bag for experienced players. I easily carry 12 discs. I don't always need / want to use my cart or full back pack. The price is right too !

Great deal for a small bag

Perfect for a ready to go travel set. Sometimes you don’t need to bring the kitchen sink, just take a few and have a good time! Well built, stays upright and does the job well. Good deal for the money.

Perfect starter golf bag

This is a simple but super functional first disc golf bag. There are two dividers in the bag that can be moved and secured with velcro to make the space smaller if you don't yet have enough discs to fill the entire bag or you want to separate your different discs. There's a water bottle pocket for a small water bottle and the bag is sturdy when set on the ground when it's time to actually play.

Great little shoulder bag.

Great bag for about 10-15 discs and a water bottle. Side zipper pouch is great for snacks or range finder and small towels.
