MVP Sound Barrier Better Than Expected

I got a basket for Christmas and day one of putting in the back yard, I felt like I was disturbing my neighbors with all this clanging. I tried muting the basket with foam pipe insulation which did a little bit but also affected how the basket caught discs. After putting this sound barrier on the basket, the clanging disappeared. Now when I hit a putt, it almost sounds like I'm dropping a chain on concrete. No ringing at all. Well worth the investment!

Works great! Stopping the chains from hitting the center pole doesn't eliminate all of the noise but it's significantly quieter in the backyard.

Worthwhile buy to dampen the pole noise. Sure, you could jerry-rig a pool noodle or towel to do a similar job, but this fits perfectly, is easy to remove and install, and doesn't cost too much.

Works perfectly

I threw 200 putts in the basement with my wife in the living room directly above the basket. She came downstairs after a half hour or so asking what I was up to. She thought I wasn't practicing because she never heard the chains.

Mutes noise-actually works

It does not take away all sound but it definitely takes away a lot of sound. I put on my basket in the basement, and I can notice a difference from upstairs to downstairs.

Hear me out

At first I was skeptical. But it mutes the pole dings. Still get the chain ching. Helps dampen sound if you're putting early in the morning or late at night. Not bad for $10 imo.
